While I understand what you’re saying, I highly doubt he was part of this level of society that can’t afford medical support and following in case of depression... Sometimes no amount of prescription/counseling and so on can prevent it.

I said nothing about the affordability of mental health care. My issue is with the way mental heath patients are handled by “mental health professionals” and the societal stigma associated with seeking mental help. We need to invest in fixing the system-figuring out exactly how to help these people. The current practice of prescribing some of these medications with atrocious side effects is not working.
